Welcome to Ty’n Y Wern Primary School.
We are a community school for all children aged 3-11 years who live in the village of Trethomas and Lower Graig Y Rhacca.
Through our mission statement of “Optimizing each child’s potential through the shared joy of learning and teaching” we endeavour to meet the learning and care needs of all children who attend the school, whilst ensuring that they enjoy learning in a safe and stimulating environment.
We recognise that it is only in working in close and balanced partnership with parents and the wider community that we can achieve this.
As well as offering high quality education we are also pleased to offer childcare facilities to all children who attend our school and the opportunity for pre-school children to attend afternoon Tiddlers Play Group .
The school is at the heart of the community and we sincerely hope that all parents and children develop a long and happy association with our school.
